| 18 Jul 07 - This turned out to be quite a day for a lot of fans. An album cover image has been released to the press and a release date of October 2nd is slated for SONGS OF MASS DESTRUCTION. This will be Annie Lennox's first new album since 2003's acclaimed BARE. Songs titles include "Dark Road" (which will be released as a single on September 24th) , "Fingernail Moon" and "Sing", a collaboration with many of today's top female artists, which promises to be something special. Entitled "Sing", the song will raise money for the Treatment Action Campaign and bring awareness to the issue of mother-to-child transmission of HIV.
