exclusively on her
MySpace blog that her
forthcoming album will be entitled
"Songs of Mass Destruction".  The album is
slated for a Fall release and is said to
contain a track where Annie collaborates
with some other female artists.
16 Jul 07 - Annie Lennox will be performing with the BBC Concert Orchestra in a
live, exclusive concert at the Mermaid Theatre in London on Wednesday, August
15, 2007.  The concert will also be broadcast on Radio 2 in the U.K. on Saturday,
August 25th between 8:00 and 9:00 p.m. and available online at Radio 2.

18 Jul 07 - This turned out to be quite a day for a
lot of fans.  An album cover image has been
released to the press and a release date of October
2nd is slated for SONGS OF MASS DESTRUCTION.  
This will be Annie Lennox's first new album since
2003's acclaimed BARE.  Songs titles include "Dark
Road" (which will be released as a single on
September 24th) , "Fingernail Moon" and "Sing", a
collaboration with many of today's top female
artists, which promises to be something special.

Lennox's upcoming solo album "Songs of Mass
Destruction" at

subject to change".
 Due October 2nd, the album
will feature a collaboration between Annie and
23 other female artists, whose names have been
revealed exclusively by Annie at her
MySpace
blog.  Entitled "Sing", the song will raise money
for the
Treatment Action Campaign and bring
awareness to the issue of mother-to-child
transmission of HIV.  Other songs include the
first single "Dark Road" (released as a single on
9/24) and "Fingernail Moon".
